Iā€™m a graphic novelist, illustrator, painter, printmaker, and editor. After growing up in Oneonta NY, I got a BFA in painting and printmaking from Purchase College School of Art and Design, and ended up in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. After doing a little bit of everything under the sun, I went back to school to focus on my first love, graphic novels. At SVA, I honed my skills as a writer and storyteller, and received an MFA in VIsual Narrative.

My work is inspired by authors like Rumiko Takahashi, Anais Nin, Katsuhiro Otomo, Satoshi Kon, Hayao Mayizaki and JG Ballard. It is my belief that economic justice and climate justice are one and the same, and I am committed to creating stories which ask the reader to question the values we take for granted. I am interested in perception, politics, bodies, the environment, and all intersections therein.
